The site is back online (and built from scratch)

The old toyboxsecurity.com was a Jekyll site running on a 2014-era Bootstrap template. It had three iframes stacked in the hero, a half-finished press kit full of pizza placeholders, and a tagline that hadn’t been touched since the announcement trailer dropped.

It’s gone. The new site is a hand-built Astro project — faster, leaner, mobile-first, and built around a single goal: making the Wishlist on Steam button easy to find.

What changed

• Hero focused on conversion: wordmark, one-line pitch, big green wishlist button, “Watch Trailer” right next to it.
• Real screenshots, real feature loops re-encoded from the original GIFs (about 9× smaller — your data plan thanks me).
• A proper /press page is on the way for the journalists who occasionally email me.
• This devblog. Hi! I’ll try to actually update it.

What’s next

Heads-down on the game. Expect a real devblog post about the trap system soon — I’ve been overhauling how chains of traps trigger each other, and there’s some great ragdoll footage waiting to be shared.
